How should I enter my birth date and time?
A chart depends on date and time boundaries. A quick check of the calendar type and birth-time certainty prevents many avoidable errors.
Enter a solar (Gregorian) date
Honeybee Saju expects a solar, Gregorian date. If your family celebrates a lunar birthday, first confirm the corresponding solar date through reliable family or official records. Do not enter the lunar month and day directly into a solar-date field.
Check leap months
A lunar leap month can produce a different solar date. If the lunar record includes a leap month, keep that detail when converting. When a record is uncertain, comparing possible dates is more honest than treating one result as certain.
If you do not know the time
You can still receive a reading based on year, month, and day. Choose the “I do not know my birth time” option so the hour pillar is not presented as certain. Times near midnight deserve extra care because calendar boundaries may affect detailed interpretations.
